Our local producers, update us every other week on their products they have available.  We update our site accordingly.

Producers set inventory and prices!  Foodstead gives them easy, bulk orders.  They can spend less time marketing and selling and more time producing!

Bullinger Family Homestead

At Bullinger Family Homestead, we raise our animals and grow our goods with care, intention, and a whole lot of faith. From livestock to handmade herbal products, everything we offer comes from a place of stewardship and real life; homeschooling kids, long days, and trusting God through it all. This isn’t just a farm to us, it’s how we provide for our family and share something honest with yours. From our homestead to your home

Deo Gratias Farmstead Inc.

Our small family farm is dedicated to raising high-quality, grass-fed beef. Our cattle are pasture-raised on fields where we practice rotational grazing and avoid the use of hormones, antibiotics, and chemical sprays.

We also grow many of the herbs used in our handcrafted salves, lip balms, and whipped body butters. Plants such as calendula, comfrey, chamomile, and yarrow are carefully cultivated, harvested, and infused into oils to create small-batch herbal products designed for natural skin care and everyday comfort.

We also offer a selection of plant seedlings for sale.

Everything we produce reflects our commitment to simple, wholesome ingredients, responsible stewardship of the land, and respect for animals and nature. When you purchase from our farm, you are supporting a local family operation devoted to sustainable, thoughtful farming—just as it was meant to be.

Experience Healthier Living, One Bite at a Time

What started as a simple dream—raising our own non-commercial meat and eggs for the health of our family—has blossomed into something so much bigger. Today, our farm is a hub for health-conscious families, fellow homesteaders, and urban dwellers who care about what they eat and where it comes from.

At our farm, we focus on sustainable, natural farming practices, ensuring every egg, cut of meat, and product we offer is packed with nutrition and free from the industrial shortcuts that compromise quality. Whether you’re looking to embrace homesteading yourself or simply want to serve your family food you can trust, we’ve built a community that shares your values and supports your journey.

Join us in redefining how we eat, farm, and live—together, we can make every meal a step toward healthier living.

Ross Farm and Produce

What started as a small effort to grow more of our own food has grown into Ross Farm & Produce, a small family farm in right here in Cleveland County. We believe in knowing where our food comes from and taking pride in growing and raising as much as we can right here on our farm.

We grow a variety of seasonal vegetables throughout the year, including tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, squash, beans, okra, microgreens, and more. We also raise animals and are continuing to expand what our farm can provide to our local community.

Our goal is simple: provide fresh, quality food that we are proud to put on our own table. We use practical, responsible growing practices and are transparent about how our food is produced.

We’re proud to be a small local farm and grateful for the opportunity to connect directly with our community through Food Share. Every purchase helps support our farm and allows us to keep growing, improving, and producing more food locally.

E5 Farm

After 20 years of a military career and the constant move from city to city, three generations decided to establish our permanent roots and founded a homestead here in Shelby, NC. This is where we are teaching the next generation how to care for the land and give thanks in all it provides us. We are a small farm that relies on family and hard work to watch the dream we’ve had for the last ten years become a reality-providing local food for our family and our community.

Moe's Cleaning Service

Hi! I’m Moe, a local mom, entrepreneur, and owner of Moe’s Cleaning Service LLC. With over 15 years of experience in residential and commercial cleaning, I’ve built my business around hard work, dedication, and treating every home like it matters. I have been rated neighborhood favorite 4 years in a row on Nextdoor app. But my passion doesn’t stop at cleaning! I also enjoy beekeeping, making handmade beeswax candles, woodworking, and creating things with my own two hands. I love learning new skills, working with nature, and turning my hobbies into something I can share with my community. Everything I do comes from a genuine love for helping others and creating something meaningful. Thank you for supporting my small businesses and the dreams behind them! 💛

Clearbrook Angus Farm

Clearbrook Angus Farm is a multi-generational family farm, owned by Danny & Carrie Howell. Their daughters, Danielle and Allison, are the fourth generation to grow up on the farm and their nephew, Zachery, works on the farm each week.
The Howells take pride in their Black Angus beef. They run a little over 100 registered Angus and commercial cattle on their 200 acre farm. Danny shared, “Black Angus is the number one selling beef across the country, known for its marbling, tenderness, and juiciness.”
The Howell family has a deep love for farming. Danny shared, “I’ve continued farming throughout my whole life. After I retired, I was able to pump all my time into it. It is an enjoyment for me.”
In addition to offering a variety of beef cuts, they also show their cattle. Their heifer, Eleanor, won first place at the 2025 Cleveland County Fair. Also pictured is “CF Ten X”, one of their herd sires.
